Every Wednesday, join us On The Steps (“Sur Les Marches”) of La Voûte Virgo, under the Cathedral of La Major, for festive and gourmet aperitifs. Enjoy the last rays of sunshine and every week discover a quality local brewer and a caterer who is intractable on taste. Local wines, cocktails and fresh tapas will also be on the menu.  For memorable aperitifs, real locals, the ones who got adopted by Marseille or on the run visitors, are advised to leave room for the unexpected and improbable!

COFFEE A NAAN
It was on their return from India that Elisabeth and Marie decided to open a small café at the bottom of Le Panier dedicated to naan, the famous little wheat bread. They bake and garnish their prepared bread with the best ingredients to offer you wraps with resonances from Marseille (Goudes naan, Notre naan de la garde, Pamel’naan). A Bollywood version street food to lick your fingers!

LA MINOTTE
Created in July 2015 in Marseille, this micro-brewery with a name full of tenderness offers a range of 8 permanent beers (blonde, white, brown, amber, IPA, Ginger, Stout, Porter) but also seasonal or special productions. You can learn how to make them one Saturday a month in this Capelette brewery workshop, a place of production that has also become a convivial tasting area, especially during cocktail-parties. The love for these minottes (“children” in Marseille’s slang) looks good to last more than three years!

His voice and musical selections echo notably on Radio Grenouille with The Cotton Club, Cave Carli Radio with the mix M/y O/wn A/tlantic T/rip or Worldwide FM, Gilles Peterson’s webradio for which he realizes every two months the show “WW Marseille”.
