In Marseille, a lighthouse from Gaza is now illuminating far more than the Mediterranean coastline. With Re-lighthouse, Palestinian artist Shareef Sarhan reconstructs a work destroyed by war, transforming it into a powerful symbol of memory, transmission and resilience. Presented as part of the Mediterranean Season 2026, this monumental installation turns Marseille into the starting point of an artistic journey crossing borders, ports and contemporary wounds.
