For its 6th edition this teeming literary festival which likes to mix genres welcomes more than 100 authors and artists from 15 different countries for an intense week. Heavyweight authors (Christine Angot, Patrick Chamoiseau, Andreï Kourkov), along with the young guard (Constance Debré, Abdellah Taïa, Sylvain Prudhomme, Colombe Boncenne), musicians who create poetry during the famous acoustic siestas of the festival (Albin de la Simone, JP Nataf, Bastien Lallemant) and also children’s literature and comics.

Beware of the Delta juggernaut, the festival of festivals returns from June 29th for 5 days of fiesta, perspiration and high-decibels. This year there are more than 120 artists – stars of today and tomorrow – PNL, Romeo Elvis, Sean Paul, The Avener, Carl Cox, Vitalic, Yuksek, Hatik, Polo&Pan, Bianca Costa, Marseilles 1RDT and Maraboutage, Olympe 4000, Rilès, Tigerhead, Magic System, Umbree, Kungs and dozens more. There’s the Cannes Film Festival and there’s the FID! One of the most important international film festival takes place in Marseille. An unmissable event for professionals of the 7th art, the FID also grants a central place to the spectators.
